Sound Horizon: Elysion~ Stardust [手描きMAD]

Well, it's been awhile since I posted something here. I've been through a lot of shit lately which kept me from updating my blog.
Anyway, here's something interesting for everyone. Though be reminded, it is not done by me. I sort of did the translation though, so please ON your Youtube annotation to see the translation/subtitles.
You can call it an "Anime PV" done by a skillful amatuer (or an animator) for one of the songs from the album "Elysion" by Sound Horizon. For the album, it tells the story of a masked man and 5 girls. "Stardust" is one of the songs and it tells the story of one of the girls.
The guy (I do not know who it exactly it was) did a very good job as he (or she) manage to do a great animation, with skill and style, to match the great song.
Basically, the song is about the heroine (StarDust) who was once living happily with her boyfriend. One day StarDust was wearing all red, with bouquet on her left hand and "promise" on her right, trying to meet her lover. However, she saw him walking fondly with another woman. Hence she snapped during the night and (her split personality) killed her lover. When she finally regained her senses, she realised what she's done and regret for her action, thus killing herself in the end.
Well, all the stories told in this album "Elysion" can be describe as pitiful, perhaps to the point of sickening. Yet, the story is no doubt nicely told, the songs and the story were both great. If you are into Jap-style musics, or specifically anime sort of musics, this album is highly recommended.

lol a coincidence, I find myself absorbed to Japanese pop because the music is so spirited, heavy. I just love it.
It is very different than chinese songs u know. Although i find chinese literature used in lyrics are discreet yet beautiful. I love painful themes especially war, struggle.
thats why i don't write love songs maybe (though i do because people asked me to)
Anyway, this PV (why is it PV not a MV??) kind of creepy. Split personality, sometimes you could be the one without u realising. Like at home, u r Edwardo but at Uni, u r not d Edwardo at home.
the song is highly emo. There is no mood of Jason Mraz which is relaxing , if you were to listen to it, you feel regret and vengeance highly. Of course, the Japanese beat style is overwhelming throughout the song. I like the complexity of the song; a mix of pop, ballad and rap. Lyrics are clear and easy to understand based on the translation (did you translate yourself??)
In conclusion, i think that when one is in a relationship, don't be OVERLY loving towards your partner because you might not know the outcome; may succeed or not.
And on the animation, like i said, it made me feel creepy and maybe a bit too creepy. presentation is done well. The contrast of colors between before and after death is clear where i am able to feel the story parallel with the song. I like the part when split personality is revealed in her at the beginning. Creepy but nicely done.

i find a lot of chinese songs that tells about heart-breaking, love, all those typical themes. not tht i hate it, i only listen to it occasinally, when im tired or bored of the jap songs in my library
actually the songs of this band (sound horizon) are mix of different styles, and they gain fame for their omnibus style. and every songs within each album share connection with each other. like i said before, each album tells a big story. for this album (elysion) it tells about people trying to gain possession of sumthing. when they fail to do it, they tend to do the wrong action and end up un-doing themselves.
im not actually fond of songs with negative emotions, but if its good, or to the point of "beautiful" i'll listen to it. actually i can't differentiate between PV and MV. if u follow the japanese online community, it should be called MAD. anything tht is fan made by their community, like this PV/MV for example, is called MAD
for the lyrics, i translated some part of it. some other parts are based on reference translation i got from other sites. i realised tht some of those translation are not properly done and lack of flow. like the "split personality" part, it was not mentioned in the translation i got, and i only added it into the summary part. sometimes one japanese word holds 2 significant meanings, and i want to avoid losing either side of the meaning in the translation. anyway, this is my 1st attempt, i found some parts sound awkward as well.
