Beta 2nd Sem - Journey of Fear

Here's my 1st presentable work, did it around one-and-the-half year ago. We are required to make an animatiing environment or journey based on a chosen emotion, with simple shapes and form. Well, like my title suggest, I did "fear" with a touch of chinese culture. Btw, the images you see are enhanced and edited with photoshop. Heck, who cares? as long as it looks good.

hi man, for me, i don't think ive even the right to comment based on my zero interest and zilch knowledge but emm i'll gv it a try
Among the three i personally like the first one with the lanterns because i am absorbed to this tradition that is suppose to be of soul relieving of the death. Maybe it is also due to that i am a culture lover person.
The second stage, i find that it is overshadowed with mist. Does look like real or alive to me but its just something you won't see in reality. Maybe some creatures would give the idea of abandonment. I think it is difficult to do, isn't it?
The third stage, its like, i don't know. i feel alive. Abandonment doesn't feel like it because i would be freaking out if i were to alone in a place that looks very old and with no people around plus lighted lanterns???
hey im not saying i am right or you are wrong but it is just an opinion. please do explain your ideas if you find me narrow minded or what so ever.
